Rules List: Start Ignoring.

start ignoring:

1. the idea of perfection

salvatore dali said "have no fear of perfection - you'll never reach it." and emilio estevez said "we are all wonderful, beautiful wrecks. that's what connects us - that we're all broken, all beautifully imperfect." it's the flaws, the scars, the lines and the cracks that make us. why should we embrace perfection when it was imperfection that made the best of us?

2. toxic friendships

with age, comes a lower tolerance towards people around us who no longer fits and lesser energy to deal with conflicting views. i love my friends but i'm sorry. if everything has to be difficult and takes too much effort, i'm seeing less of you.

3. blatant negativity

i'm made up of a mad disparate fusion of thoughts, both positive and negative, bright light and a deep black hole all at once. i'm the fine line between bubbly and silence. sounding as pretentious as it may seem,  i'm complete confusion. but i'm beyond positive when it comes to tasks. it can be done. quit complaining about everything and everyone. look in the mirror and far beyond before the tongue begins.

4. other people's unwanted advice

i do not need your approval. i do not need your views. you can speak but i may not listen.  you do it your way, and i do it my way. i pay heed to what i think is constructive but i really do not need to listen to your "idea of perfection" all the time.

5. the idea that everything should be easy

i always try to make the best of things, to do things in the easiest way possible but i learn that life in itself is not easy. you can only make things the easier.

6. your materialistic thinking

mmm.... who doesn't want to own nice stuff? we can't afford all of that, we do not have a huge trust fund that we can draw from. mix and match maybe?

7. your resistance to change

i do not like change much. i'm a creature of habit but i guess when some things got to go, they got to go.
