everybody thinks that they have a little darkness in them, that they are suppressing the devil who may like to come out to play, that they have sufficient self control to keep their demons at bay. everybody likes a little bad in this very oppressed society. they conform to be "with" the crowd but would like to think they are a little more special than the person next to them on the street on in the train.
if we need not conform to the norms, if we could unleash the darkness in us, will the society be tattered? does the real world then become unbearable while all hell breaks loose? we mostly merely flirt with the darkness but can we go all the way and allow ourselves to so indulge in breaking the norms and allow our darkness to go for a walk?
c'mon baby, let's go out to play.
