Colors

I've no idea when my distaste for colors came about. Yesterday, my colleagues were discussing about the supposed "lucky" or "auspicious" colors to wear to work when we return after the lunar new year celebrations. This year, it's to be yellow or marine blue. Hell, who wears those colors anyway? Honestly, perhaps alot of people do but somehow, visualizing my closet, if I were to be asked to wear any other color other than black, white or grey, I would probably be unable to do so anyway. To come and think about it, why do I have no other colors? This wasn't always so. I had the prettiest frocks in the prettiest colors when I was a little girl but as I grew older, my closet just seemed to turn into such a dull pallet.
