Quiet of the dark
No people walking in
No wiping sounds about
Passing sounds in the distance
Street light through the drapes.
Only quiet thoughts
Only peace I find
Away from all the people
Lying here alone
I feel at ease
I feel the peace
Each day I look forward
To this time alone
After all the rush
After all the troubles
Night falls and stars shine
All the waking retire
